Manor Lake Hoschton – Campus Director
Anita Deraney brings a deep passion for senior care, decades of leadership experience, and a heart for service to her role as Campus Director at Manor Lake Hoschton. A proud veteran of the United States Armed Forces, Anita’s commitment to service has been a guiding force throughout her career. With a diverse background spanning education, nonprofit leadership, and senior living, she is recognized for building strong teams, fostering meaningful relationships with residents and their families, and creating a warm and welcoming community.
Prior to joining Manor Lake, Anita served as Chief Marketing and Development Officer for Second Wind Dreams, where she led international empathy-based programs, including the Virtual Dementia Tour and the Autism Reality Experience. Her work has been instrumental in improving care for older adults and educating professionals across healthcare, education, and business sectors.
Anita believes in leading with empathy, empowering her team, and ensuring each resident experiences joy, dignity, and purpose every day. When she’s not on campus, you’ll find her outdoors, spending time with family, or cheering on her grandson at football games.
